My version is checked out of yesterdays (24.02) SVN and I have been getting this error twice now:
ufo: src/qcommon/cmodel.c:1383: CM_BoxLeafnums_r: Assertion `nodenum < curTile->numnodes' failed.
1) When I was aiming (wasn't near any map border)
2) Just after when I shot an ailien (maybe it was trying to show the "mission complete" screen?)
Has anyone got anything similar crashes?
"version" is "UFO: Alien Invasion 2.1-dev3 i386 Feb 25 2007 Linux"
Debian Unstable 4.0, AMD Athlon 64 3500+
gcc version 4.1.2 20061115 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.1-21)

japan06n for example, but it wasn't the only one.

this should be fixed in current trunk now (those there might be still some asserts)

* in the mine
* in an oriental looking level

The aliens were attacking my base, is this part incomplete? Updated from SVN ~1h ago.

Hiya.
I got A crash (not sure it was this exact one) in the African map called something like Gobin or something.
I tried it twice, and both times it crashed. Once it froze up and the other time it simply exited to my desktop.
I really hope this can be fixed soon, as I love this game.

i think this is already fixed in the 2.1 branch and trunk versions. you should check out the new developer installer at mattn.ninex.info (wait ~1h and you will get the most recent version of 2.1 branch)
-
You mean Gobabis mission. Yes, it is fixed in 2.1 (the problem was night version of oriental06 map, which was fixed by ubequitz). The workaround for 2.0 is to delay the mission untill it will become Day mission.

Hi
Got some problem with Gwanda(Africa) mission:
- ufoai-2.1-dev-win32-r6942 - game simply exits
- ufoai_2.1-dev-win32-r7015 - game hangs
when trying to load mission data.
I tried developer 1 option but got zip in log :(.
- and map "excavation site" ( exca01.map iirc) loads only textures for soldiers/aliens - rest of objects on screen are black.
+ game saves it's config-files in Documents & Setings/../ufoai/ ,but doesn't use them at next run. Found a little walk-around for that: i've edited config files in 0base.zip, but that doesn't set all options as i like.
my settings: 1240x1024, window-mode, graphic options:off/minimum.
-- I LOVE THIS GAMES :D keep up the good work!!!
