How to play cooperative games?
Are there special coop maps?

there is currently no easy way to do this - i will implement this feature into the multiplayer menu as soon as i get the time.

in general you have to play with cvars to make this work - activate teamplay via menu (should work already), chose the same teamnum values
and activate ai_numactors

I would to know  which maps are possible in cooperative mode ?
I use the UFO:AI stable version 2.2.1.

if you go through the multiplayer->create menu you can select different gametypes for every map. the maps that supports coop have this in the gametype list. but sometimes you will spawn close to the aliens, then you have to restart that map and chose a different teamnumber.

Hmm, if there will be cooperative games, will there be alien squads sufficient to stand up to the combined human might?  Will this manifest as a single alien team at least twice the size of the individual player teams, or will we have two smaller alien teams cooperating?  Might there be more than this quantity available?  Two vs. Three?  More?
