Folks,
This is just informational since I notice its been discussed in previous posts.
How to get GTK Radiant to use the correct textures for UFO AI Map.
Open GTK Radiant
Click on Edit
Click on Preferences
Scroll down to Settings
Select Path
In the options window to the left you notice this folder location:
C:\Program Files\UFOAI-2.0-RC6\base\base\maps
Or some kind of variant of... No.. really.
Change that folder location to:
C:\Program Files\UFOAI-2.0-RC6
Click ok.
Then open up one of the previous maps, and it will open... with textures, still... lights work a little weird, but now you can work with the textures.
Enjoy!

could you explain: "lights work a little weird"
-
Should have given some details above.
As for the lights. I noticed once that I got the textures to work, the lights would behave a little weird.
I would get this error in the log:
Doom3LightRadius: failed to parse default light radius
So I went looking to try and identify why I would get that error.
In reality, the map looks fine to me, and the light seems to work when I look at it. But I get that in the logs. So I was unsure and mentioned that the lights might work a little off in the instance because its un-expected, so, mentioned that their might be something a little odd with the lights.
Any thoughts?

this seams to be doom3 related and should not be of any interest - nevertheless i will verify the game pack

heh, I can't get textures to load in v2.1.1 so could someone update this and explain it?
Thanks :)
