Hey all, I'm new to the forums. I love this game and wanted to make it my first LP. I'm still improving video quality and confidence. I appreciate feedback as well and I hope it's enjoyable.

Yay, its always nice to see a lets play of UFO:AI! :)
I've been looking for a good (free) recording software for myself and finally found one few months ago: http://obsproject.com/
Its quite easy to set up and works fine.

Thanks for the recommendation. I actually started using OBS for Part 003 and on. I find it very difficult to edit audio though.
Here's the process I have to go through:
1) Cut video into clips in Windows Movie Maker
2) Save each video and export audio to Audacity for editing (saving is very time consuming)
3) Edit audio in Audacity
4) Export edited audio to replace previous audio in windows movie maker
5) Save each clip yet again
Just by typing this it comes to my attention that I can edit the audio of an entire session and THEN divide it up, so I'll only have to save once per clip, plus once for the whole video... I think.
Do you edit audio or are you just good at recording?

I don't mean to bump, just wanted to provide a brief update. If you believe in second chances, Part 14 of this series is back in HD and (I think) has decent audio quality too. I'm also slightly less awkward.

Cheers!

Well done, though the audio quality is still somewhat below average. ;)

Thanks dude :D yeah I've either gotta improve my mic setup or do more editing. Still a work in progress I guess.

Not sure if its a micro issue. Sounds more like a audio buffering problem, which is probably caused by recording video using a "slow" pc. Of course it could be another issue, since i dont know your specs. ;)
