Title: Could we get a link to the old version 2.21?
Post by: leftishut on April 28, 2012, 12:32:44 am
I remember the day I stupidly trashed my old version and tried the first of incompatible mac compatible versions. It crashed but back then I though a fix was just a week or month away. Then 6 months, then maybe the next version, then maybe the next. Now my lat hope is Desura. And it kills to hear all these great comments from other players on pcs or practically any other possible system. macs have never been gaming systems and likely never will, which is what makes it worse, it was an awesome free game ON MAC. pcs have hundreds we have maybe 4. Could you please, when you can or anyone else out there upload an old version that worked on mac so we can at least play that, because it still rocked.

One lat question, does anyone have a version post 2.3.1 that does indeed run on a mac?

I second this. A link to an old copy of the game would just be heaven. Someone has to have it tucked away some where.......

To play these older versions, do I simply download and instal the .dmg? I have the game operational, but all of the text files seem to be missing in-game... beginning with the introductory text/storyline, and including all the descriptions of the objects, weapons, etc... should I be downloading other files from the above link, too (additional data files?) or is everything supposedly included in the disk image and my computer is just having problems assembling everything properly?

Thanks!
