Atomic-Gear) decided to change our plans.
We now want to develope a "Space Tower Defense" game which would require much less 3D-Assets than the shoot em up project (which is not cancelled, but on hold).

Hi Ho! Iam looking for a 3D Artist with decent 2D / texturing skills who is interested in working on a commercial game project which is currently in the pre-production stage for PC and Mobile Phones whereof iam the Game, Story and Sound Designer. It is an anime themed / styled sci-fi game in that you take control of a spacecraft in a top-down view to destroy your enemies, fight bosses, buy new ships, weapons you can upgrade (like Tyrian or Raptor - Call of Shadow) and advance in a interesting (not a plain) Story. Aiming for a release on mobile devices (Android, iOS) and PC (Steam, Desura), its the second game of the indie dev team Atomic-Gear of which iam one of the founders. - Good 3D/2D art skills, especially in creating anime styled and low poly assets (sci-fi/high-tech/mecha/modern/environment)
- Animation skills (mainly mechanical objects like ship parts etc.)
- High motivation and enough time to timely finish the required assets
- Expierence with creating low poly assets
Nice-to-have skills:
- Capable of drawing of 2D characters (avatars, backgrounds etc.) and concept arts
- Capable of creating steampunk 3D/2D assets
- Expierence with the Unity3D Engine
Your job will be:
- Create all types of 3D and 2D assets (environments, characters, objects etc. - depends on your specialtys)
Compensation:
Compensations will be negotiated before getting accepted (profit share, per model basis or fixed amount *after release*, etc.)
After we had bad luck with some applicants of our last game, i need to mention that you have to be
reliable. We cannot need someone who's doing stuff very slowly and/or then suddenly vanishes, so that we cannot use the content and have to start over again.
