I saw some images that shows the PHALANX team in front of a Firebird in the scenario. I think it was a concept design but i read about a "first person look" which is activated using the "v" key.
I try to use it, but nothing happend. It´s this option available at 2.2.1 version? If it´s possitive, how can i activate it?
Thanks

you can change the angel of the camera with the r and f key if i remember correctly
don't know of first-person-view? but perhaps...
-
It's in 2.2.1 (won't be in 2.3). Disable the Isometric mode at Video Options. Then the 'v' key as you knew.

Ah, not too sure if u r using 2.2.1. But yes, V does the trick in 2.2.1 and earlier versions.
If u happened to 'try 2.3-development' builts, u would find that that function is abandoned. Yupz. No more in the 2.3...... :D

Why was this feature abandoned?
-
It is abandoned because the map compilation optimisation is not compatible with POV.
Many shapes are skipped (at the compilation time) according to the top-down view constraintes.
Also maybe, because the code architecture was not well done, but i am not sure about that. And in this case we should reintroduce it.

fpv will not get back into the game!
what we can do is a mode that is close to first person - e.g. if you want to target with a sniper. but this mode will never ever display any ceiling (as our maps don't have them). I've removed it because it looked like crap in the current implementation. If somebody wants to contribute a new version - i'm waiting for patches.

I would like to see it in a little floating window over the battlescape :-)
