Title: Bug, feature, or careless user?

Hi, guys

I am experimenting with a map with a lot of light sources and I am having a little problem: it seems that the lights are projecting shadows through the floor, making weird shadows underground. Is this a bug, an undocumented feature, or one of the many mistakes of yours truly?

Let me guess, old bug? By the way, I have put about 12 light sources in a map tile by using "light" on the surface panel, but the ufo2map tells me "100 light sources" and takes about 40 seconds to process the map. Is it normal? Is it acceptable?

Yes. The game can generate more than one light for a single surface.

Sometimes shadowcasting works wrong in the lightmap compiler. No remedy is known so far and even the cause of it is not discovered yet.

Somehow I missed to add the link (http://ufoai.org/forum/index.php/topic,6373.msg50447.html#msg50447) here. You can work around this by removing the func_doors from the map. This is also recommend because the AI seems to have problems with them.
