My usual builds: Assault unit-assault rifle,medkit,2 aditional mags,armor,IR and 1 flashbang and grenade. MG guy-MG,medkit,IR,armor and 2 of each nades (sometimes 4 smoke and 2 flash). Sniper-sniper rifle,2 aditional mags,armor,medkit,IR and 2 smoke nades. However, i first search for all of my soldiers to have atleast 35 strenght and 25 acuracy. If the unit has both but its not specialized in assault or sniper, he gets the MG

12 soldiers for base defense-all equiped with nades (smoke,frag,plasma), medkit, IR. At the start (if you have one soldier what is weak or sniper) put him in com centar and if your barracks are far, use rest to cover the passages to it (always make sure you put one barrack next to entrance point, and com centar close to them). Also dont be afraid to have 2-3 snipers (combine them with IR for taking hidden enemies trough the walls). And make the aliens come to you, when you get number advantage move to finish them of (groups of 2-3 to support) and if posible from few directions (but make sure there are no friendlies directly behind the enemy)

2 proposals: 
1. EMP grenades- i notice a lot of mechanical aliens in plans, so why not to make something to counter them (later game posibly)
2. Put a rank tab under soldiers face in tac view (or any other kind of marks since there are no more camo)

But only snipers and coilguns do that and on thin walls, so you cant use it all the time.

Ironman mode would be awesome, but maybe it could have like unlimited game (to se how much you can survive-no end). Also lesser funding (so you have to craft and sell stuff to keep on going)

Ah thats why i se a button kill live aliens (of course i have none in the whole game-they are only good when dead)

When i click on the button, it stays on even when i switch the soldier. It stays that way until i close it again (keep it open at the end of the turn to know who got hit and is he bleeding).

Im proposing this because im (and probably others) always short on alien materials.For UFO dissasembly it takes a lot of time and i get enough materials for just one Dragon. So i tought if you can get AM from UFOs, why not from their armor for example (you get good amount of money, but i have that plenty)?
