That seems good to me. :o
So what ive done is put a text file in the folder with all my tunes with the details of where to find the license online, and if i give any links out, il use the webaddress of the entire folder, which will show the textfile, rather than people bypassing it and just downloading the tune....
Is that how its normally done?

Thanks for that  ;D

Heres the new link .....     http://www.4shared.com/dir/27000319/65751ede/sharing.html

Two tracks there, the last one might be a bit weird for ya, but its yours if you want it.(I can change it if you want)
If you like The Thing, and think it could be useful but you need it to be tweaked e.g make it longer, thats no problem I still have the project files.
I dont know what licenseing is apt for this stuff.
Also how do you loop music in-game?  Do you use loop points, like the ones available in wav files?
oh yeah, the vsti's were, DSK-Strings, for the strings,.....ZebraCm for the wind/bass/303 sounding thingie

Hello, I have recently enough did my own version of The Thing theme tune, which as it happens would sound great somewhere in your game, but of course I dont know if it would be far enough away from the original to slip past copyright and licencsing. I used free vst's to make it and I own Renoise, so no problems there. I will upload it and you can have a listen if you want. I have to go into vista tho to upload so i will post back up in a min with the address.

Bugs prior to release 2.3 / Re: Reaction Fire? More detail
« on: March 02, 2010, 07:53:48 pm »
Sorry about the lack of detail there, and the fact that im a shotgun poster, I do not have my own internet connection...............:-~
Im using the svn linux version, and usually update it every couple of days, and occasionly start a new game.(I started one last thurs/fri).
It seems the RF very rarely actually works, as in , my soldiers will actually fire, normally they just get blasted when the aliens walk into view and paint the scenery with my mens/womens brains. Since I started the new game ive seen my soldiers fire once or twice, maybe they are just not that good yet?
To enable RF, I would first tick the circle, then reserve Tus for the same level of shot, then then set the RF(the shield) to 1.  That seems alot of Tus? I bet im doing something wrong whatever it is............iv'e tried enabling just the RF with the ticked circle and the shield button, but never got my soldiers to fire during the aliens turn like that either, maybe im just crap and the aliens know it. Sometimes i hear them laughing at me.

Oh yeah, I recompile everytime after an update.
Maybe someone could post a youtube vid of how to set this correctly til the manual is finished?

ps thanks for working on this great game, and i hope this post creates more work for you.
