If the red "X" on the world map, that mark a new mission available, is randomly positioned too near a base, I cannot select niether the mission or the base. If I try it will open a windows that show me the details of the mission, but I can't select the mission so the game inevitably go to a loss.

Have u tried to zoom in further?? (PS: U on 3D Geoscape right?). Zooming in will help u see the mission differentiating from the installation / base. :D
