Keep reading. And follow the link in BTAxis' post about larger bases. The discussion evolves.

hmmm...
A story makes no sense at all.
A store could be meant as either stock/warehouse or production, but that IS possible.
May be a level?

"Story" can mean "level" when it comes to buildings, so it was perfectly correct use of the term.

Actually (and just to be fussy), the correct spelling for a floor in a building is "storey", not "story", and according to the dictionary, the adjective is "storeyed", as in "multi-storeyed".

...Depending on what type of English you're talking about - in American (United States) English "story" is perfectly acceptable to refer to levels of a structure.

(Info in link provided by the American Heritage Dictionary (partnered with Yahoo!), an official source.)

Yes, just like how us Americans like myself say "armor" and "color" without a "u" in there, and other f***ed up "schtuff" that not many other English-speaking nations do...

Well you've chosen a rather rare noun for what you meant so this can happen.
Anyway your question has been answered in post 2, but since you ask again you obviously never read that thread.
At least not completely as H-Hour told you in post 5, otherwise you would have found http://ufoai.ninex.info/wiki/index.php/Proposals/Larger_Bases...

I could lock the topic to prevent people from replying if your want.

Doesn't the original author of a thread have the option to lock their own topic?  I remember some non-admins doing that in the past in this forum.  I also remember a few cases where the original author of a thread deleted the whole thing outright.  (Unless that changed with a forum upgrade, or if Mattn did something in the admin control panel...)

I know Sitters once accidentally deleted one of his own model threads, so probably.
