Starting a skirmish

Hello, all

I have just installed UFOAI and am trying to start a skirmish to test Battlescape. Why is only one map available—+ africa medium? Why does clicking Start game have no effect? It does not even show an error message... I created a team and specified the settings on all the three tabs in the skirmish window.

It would look like you're missing files, how did you install the game? Compiled from source, installer, pre-built binaries, etc. And where did you get the game from?

Also check the ufoconsole.log for error messages (Where to find it), or preferably attach it here.

Thank you, DarkRain.  My first installation failed due to lack disc space, so I cleaned my HDD and installed the game into the same directory without emptying it. That must have been the problem, because reinstalling the game into a clean directory has helped.
