shot down alien ship - aliens in high-rise building

fireday:
I played at a high level of difficulty, shot down an alien ship
on the map was not crashed ship, and aliens were in the building (like name of the mission was secret hideaway)
second time the aliens were on abandoned mine
Is it normal? if i shot down an alien ship in 2.4 - on map was crashed ship and aliens do not was in high-rise building
it was at initial mission (3-4 mission). it's hard, i lost 3 people at one mission, and 1 people at next mission
Is it normal? - i dont think so. if i shot down ship - ship shuld be on place (or, maybe aliens run away?)

The downed ship appears on some maps, but not all maps. Not all maps have place markers for downed ships (or for drop ships which is why you appear in an open area).

Losing 3 people in a mission is very easy on hard. It depends on your tactics. If you start in an open space and don't use smoke then you could lose your entire team in a couple of moves.

ShipIt:
The behaviour you describe is intentional. In 2.4 (and below) there was a bug in the map selection, resulting in crashed UFOs always using the same map. Imo there is no need to always show the crashed UFO. Everybody knows it´s out there.

About loosing soldiers - well, fighting aliens is not just like a walk in a park.

And one more question - on high level of difficulty number of aliens and increase/improved?

Yes, and in general they will move to more dangerous weapons, craft and species sooner too.
