Yes, it's a wonderful tool to have - especially so now that 2.5-dev is quite stable for players.

One thing I've noticed right away in 2.5 is that the wsad keys don't move the battlescape camera. Quite irritating. The font can also be hard to read since it's darker and thinner

the wasd issue is fixed in latest master and will be available in the next nightly. thanks for reporting. it's an sdl2 input issue.

On a vaguely related note... I took several months off after getting to Dec. in a game, then having the map go entirely green on me.

Having recently returned, all of the UFOs I'm encountering have aliens armed just with plasma weapons. Have Kerrblades been removed?

Being impatient for 2.5, I wonder if  should try the development version?

I see there is an .exe version. Is there one for Ubuntu?
