basedir in Desura / Ubuntu 13.04

Hi folks

can anybody point me at the basedir please? I installed the game through Desura. Background is that I need to apply the city map patch, since i also have this Problem. Version is 2.4.

I think you're talking about /path-to-ufoai/base/. I don't know where Desura installs the game, but there should be a /base/ directory in there.

There is no city map patch in version 2.4.
