[2.5_dev_13/01/19] (Map: Office Complex) Crash to geoscape upon starting combat

<< < (3/4) > >>

H-Hour:
On the download page you'll see "UFO:AI binaries" and "UFO:AI installer". The first only gives you new executables and accounts for changes in the source code. The installer gives you all new artwork, so map fixes, script fixes, etc will only show up in the installer.

You can attach files to a feature request or bug on SF. You should do that with the ufoconsole.log, although include a small relevant snippit in the comment is nice as well. If you need to attach more than 1 file, you can do so with multiple comments (as geever mentioned, SF's bug tracker is not exactly user-friendly).

DarkRain:
Did you open the link ShipIt posted above? You would have noticed that the commit that fixed this is from the 15th.

Quizer:
Yes, I looked at that link. I downloaded a full installer on the 19th and had this bug happen to me. Was the fix done on the 15th, but not included in the installer for some reason? (I don't tag my bug reports / posts with the version number including day for shits and giggles. I've always used full installers so far. If I start using binaries, I'll have to post dates for both.)

DarkRain:
Ah, OK I noticed that the versions you posted in the tracker were from before the 15th, so I thought I would mention it.
Take in count that we had some problems with the buildbot recently, so nightly build weren't actually built, it wasn't until I updated maps yesterday that the fixed map was included

Edit: and I seem to have misread the dates also, different date format here and all that, sorry about that (but the sentence above still applies)

Quizer:
Only one of the dates I posted was before the 15th. I did try to give all the relevant information.

Okay, so there was a reason the fix wasn't in my version. Guess I'll have to update once more.
