I did some work on subjected craft last year, and now I`ve finished it, so I`d like to show some renders of the craft.

UFO gunboat is heavy fighter, made by aliens after some time. The aliens use some human techs to make the gunboat more atmosphere-capable plane.

Currently it is made only as map object, crashed version and geoscape version are missed. I`ll hope to include it in 2.5.

I like it. Big enough to have a dangerous interior, but small enough that it doesn't take up the whole map.

I would suggest adding two engines. Maybe at the side of the ufo, behind the cockpit. Because the UFO Gunboat gives four alien propulsion if disassembled.

Two on the top and two on the bottom maybe?
Or perhaps a configuration with the engines above and under the root of each wing instead?

i don't like the first two - but the others are great. from my point of view i don't care which version will be used of the last two.

"behind wings" and "above the wings" are clearly the best. Have you tried to attach the engines on the wings? Sadly its too late to rearrange the back engine i presume. Positioned also on the side would look better in combinations with the new engines in my opinion.

Well. I don`t like the idea to add two more engines in general.
«behind cockpit» is simply ugly, «above the wings» is better but I think that AM jet simply destroy the wings.

«behind wings» is much better than other. May be we can use it, but I need to look to the prefab first. Unfortunately I have some problems with Radiant and spare time currently.

The "behind cockpit" layout is generally disliked, even though it's the best from aerodynamics point of view, since it brings design closer to be conformant to the area rule. If one builds a real-life model of it (smoothed, of course), it could have even less transsonic/supersonic drag than the original 2-engine version.

PS:  :o while checking wikipedia for the "area rule" page (to see if I should give a longer explanation, or just refer to it), I've found that one of the drawings is very close to the "engines behind cockpit" version ... and cited from the German 1944 patent!!!

Oh you totally spoiled the plot - the aliens are not commin from a other part of the galaxy, theyre actually nazis from the dark side of the moon!

EDIT/OFFTOPIC: Wait... Are they parody the intro sequence of Battlestar Galactica at the begining of the trailer? Haha, havent noticed that.
