1st Trial Impression

Older than Dirt:
As an old X-Com player, I am happy to find out about this project. I just finished my first game, without reading any instructions haha. I did watch the three Youtube videos that did a good job of explaining the workings of the game. I must say that though the Earth was lost in my play through,  I really enjoyed it. Seeing the soldier named after my wife burnt to a crisp as she was behind an alien hit by a flamethrower...well I got choked up for almost half a second  ;D

I did notice the rocket launcher boys hit quite often. I hit a learning curve road block when my transport craft crashed. Some troops check boxes were grayed out...are they MIA?

Also, I bought another craft, but couldn't launch it. I noticed I was down to one pilot so I am guessing that was why.

The guys with greyed checkbox are the squad of the downed dropship, you can rescue them.
