Savegame that crashes 980e88 for me

Loading that save randomly crshes said revision. If game was loaded ok, saving it immediately creates save with the same (mis)behaviour.

Mattn:
latest master should have the issue fixed - feedback is welcome

Sandro:
The last master works for me, loads the game ok (checked multiple times)
