Combat....... Attacking.....
Tantalid:
Ok, As quite a few around the boards here I too was an aficionado of X-COM: UFO Defense on me 'ol 386 Machine. If my memory serves me right, in order to attack (UFO Defense), you clicked on a given troops weapon, and then fine tuned the shot, i.e., Single or Auto etc. Snap Shot or what have you, then made your shot...... HOW do you attack in UFO: Alien Invasion.... (I was and am SO Happy to have seen that you folks are doing such an outstanding job with this !!!!) ......Although I haven't personally played a game yet... Lol.... SO, That's my question..... And I'm very embarrassed asking it...... As I am sure the explanation is on the site/forums Somewhere, but I...ME.... I can't find the bugger.... So would someone please explain, and if possible, tell me where on the site the mechanics of it are explained.......
MANY Many Thanks Ahead of time !!!!!

H-Hour:
The attachment shows you where the buttons you want to click are.
Sandro:
But yes, clicking on the weapon's picture to fire it seems much more logical. And saves a bit of screen space.
Crystan:
H-Hour is working on a new HUD which will hopefully replace someday the current one. 2.4 will also features MCR's Minimalistic Hud which saves a lot of screen space
Kine:
I love the new GUI - especially the blow up portrait of the soldier!
