Suggestion: Additional Medium alien ship

We have the scout and the fighter that really can't be boarded.  Then we have the harvester with it's two decks.  During the time between initial contact of the aliens until the plot elements beginning, how about an intermidiate medium sized ship functioning as a heavy fighter/frigate ship that is basically a smaller harvester to break up some of the earlier missions.

Gunboat (which is a heavy fighter) is planned. I wanted  to link screensots of Kildor's mapmodel but they were already removed from the image upload site.
