Original HUD is unselectable after changing to Alternate

As the subject states, I tried the Alternate HUD - and now can't revert back to the original.
The option is there, I just can't select it... which is kinda frustrating, because personally I don't like the alt HUD, and I want the old one back!

I searched thru the forums, but couldn't find anything on this.
On a tangent... is there a "Known Bugs" list anywhere?

The battlescape has to be closed to be able to change the HUD, so exit the game first, before changing the HUD.

I'd tried exiting to the main menu already; however after a complete restart I could revert

(heads off to thwap more aliens)
