Looking for late-game saves

This is a late save (2.5dev 1A 32 Mar 18) before my assault on the alien base. Hope it helps.

Thanks DarthLuca. Do you know when you began this campaign? Was it begun under 2.4-dev and finished under 2.5-dev?

Started on March 18 (or very soon after) (V. 2.5dev 1A-32 Mar18). Same version used throughout. I downloaded what I thought was latest as soon as 2.4 realease was announced but guess I picked the wrong link at the time. I assume that this version is very close to the 2.4 that was available at that time. Very stable though with only 1 crash on entering a map. Again hope this helps. I am currently downloading the latest 2.4 and will use that from now on. If there are any specific areas you need testing/playing through let me know (ian.lucas@uwclub.net).

This game is played on hard - I played it in Win7.

I did not build any UFO Yards until late  (because I didnt know how and had to ask on irc  :-[) at  deathcount ruffly 200 aliens. (Maybe it should be made a prerequisite to have a ufo yard before making more bases?)

I think  economywise I had too many bases (7) but keeping me afloat by selling what I raid and having exuberant alle nations.

At this savegame the Alien base had just been found in Australia.

Antimatterstorage - began construction.
ufo flight components not researched.
not produced own aircrafts
coilgun/needlegun/particleguns found

I used retry in missions maybe 5-10 times.  got some deaths perhaps 15-30 people, maybe lost 10 sarachens fully equipped.

Maps I did not like:
The map with the estate and all the basements and cannons.(Hard to find the last alien alive)

Bugs I was experiencing:
1 When fighting the UFOfighters sometimes the fps drops to 0.00something fps.
2 the program crashed maybe 3-4 times, one time during the ending of a mission.

Battlescared:
Late game save.  Alien base discovered and team on it's way into it.  6 bases, 3 away teams, lots of SAM's.  Most areas researched, but had 4 research teams going full bore to the end.

2.4 IA-32 Apr 27 2012 Linux RELEASE version.
