Intercepting UFOs in 2.0-RC5 - possible?

This is more a question than a bug report, really. I have already gone through numerous terror missions but I haven't yet seen a single UFO. Are they not yet implemented in RC5? If they are, then I believe this should be a bug.

they are implemented in rc5 i saw some but i didnt try to shoot em down they escape anyways i think

ubequitz:
they will appear if you advance far enough, but interceptions aren't really finished. When you shoot down a ufo over land you would normally send your troops in to the crash site... but this part is not  in the game yet (random map generation isnt finished). Also there are other features planned (but work is very perliminary at this stage).
