No. But you can install 2.4 in a seperate folder next to the 2.3 version. Just do not mix them.

No, the saves from 2.3 cannot be used in 2.4.

Ok, so I dont know what I downloaded, some "data version" which I cant use and Ill delete if I dont need it. I'll download the full installer when I get home

Or this 968.7 mb exe downloadable from http://sourceforge.net/projects/ufoai/files/ or http://sourceforge.net/projects/ufoai/files/UFO_AI%202.x/2.4/ ??

Wolls:
Lately the update goes straight green, without doing any kind of update.  I've looked at the commits, and the build bot, and it seems like some kind of revision should be in order.  But, the updater just says 'finally after...' and doesn't do anything.

  Am I missing something?
