Of course everything in the game needs to fit into the general design of the game. But, if somebody contributes like this and we donĀ“t want to or we are not able to use it in the game, why should one contribute at all?

At least all the "bla bla" itt gives me an idea about why this project is moving sidewards for ages now.

I made 2 models for the assault rifle.  Two different verison of the VHS. Then there's the stock assualt rifle. That's 3 different assault rifle models availalbe.

It's a waste of resources to now use a 4th model for the exact same thing.



Speaking of ammo - I will make different ammo entries for some weapons. The models themselves should be simple enough - it's the same magazine/missile model with just a different texture.

RED - incendiary
BLUE - hollow point
YELLOW - HEAP
GREEN - plasma (for missiles)
PURPLE - anti-matter? (also missiles)

Oh i didnt know that. Then we better forget that "replace that rifle model" idea ;)

You know what I would like to see? Primary and secondary damage for weapons.

So a bullet can deliver two types of damage.

For exampe a HEAP bullet.
Does 10 kinetic damage and 20 explosive. Gives you room to play with.

Maybe even special flags...like "penetrator".
Penetrator weapons half the armor bonus for secondary damage.
Impact weapons reduce TU's (simulating getting the air knocked uot of you)
Etc...
