Oh new tech sounds better to me. But new laser weapon models wouldnt be bad. :D

Also, at the moment I'm not sure if we have anyone able to give these models a good texture. They could probably go into data_source, though, for the future, if you can zip up the model files.
I also thought the guns could be good replacements for the laser rifles, which currently seem to fall short of our other weapons in aesthetic terms.

Heey, what's wrong the laser guns ??
I don't like these models, they're quite similar to the assault riffle.

I can texture them, so it's not a problem.
Which reminds me, I should give the coilgun a new texture... I don't know what i was thinking when I made that texture.....possibly a model tweak to boot.
As far as the pulse rifle goes - the grip and upper part are seprate. I myself was thinking of removing the upper part, as it doesn't feel "right" to me...yet.
Regarding the UGVs - do you need new models for them?
The tank one I did feels a bit too..tall..methinks the center bit should be moved down.
Also, do we need hip-carried weapons for power armor? You know - weapons that are carried similar to a minigun..BIG guns..heavy guns.
do we even have hip-carry animations???
also..backpacks..do we have backpacks? (as separate models..like heads)

Cool. Will probably want to run it by another admin since I'm not in the game much, but I like the gun model and think it could be used to replace something.

Not sure what the status is, but think the artwork we have is just placeholder. In my ideal world our UGVs would be a bit less "tank" like, but what you have is probably an improvement over what we have (assuming it gets textured). But UGVs are still unimplemented so don't know when it would get used.

Hip-carried weapons would require new animations and I don't think it's worth it (personally). As far as I know, there are no plans for including a backpack.
