Tutorial?

Is there a tutorial for how to play the game? I'm downloading it now and searched the forums and website and could only find tutorials relating to modding and starting the game, that sort of thing.

I never played the original Xcoms, and am not planning on buying the newer ones since they all have HORRIBLE reviews... I got into this genre with Silent Storm which I absolutely LOVED until the Panzerkleins showed up .

I've played plenty of TBS games but that's really the only turn based tactics game I've played. I played a bit of JA2 as well but it didn't suck me in like Silent storm... maybe because I just missed the rather intricate indoor environments + destructibility? Also it felt like I had more options in SS than JA2 (as far as commands to give... obviously JA2 has a way better metagame and story).

The above is about the best you're gonna find. Put the game on easy mode and just start messing around is really the best way to learn. Learn as you go.

For anyone familiar with the old X-Com games, this is pretty easy to pick up without any tutorials just by messing around the various menus, regardless of difficulty.

Of course, research is faster on easier difficulties, so it may pay to give those a spin rather than jumping immediately to hard or very hard.
