Cant run 2.3 or 2.4

 ???

I need help!!, for some reason i cant run either version, it crashes at start up, i did see a on the console that says couldn't execute config.cfg on ver 2.3 and 2.4 i uninstalled and installed 2.4 but no log shows up on ufoconsole. and it closes when a new window named SDL_app shows up for only a second

No error messages, nothing.. same issue as in prev posts from win xp SP3, im using SP2...

Did try same troubleshooting steps to no avail...

downloaded and installed ufoai-2.4-dev-1288676501-Debug-7z-small-win32 and ufoai-2.4-dev-Update-1288676501-to-1291398983-Release-7z-small-win32  and for 2.3 was the last bins from Muton..

PLEASEEE HELP!!

I get the hint that Muton may be directing you to a FAQ.  These versions run fine on my computers, however they do require up-to-date video drivers, and proper computer requirements.  Btw guys, 2.4 is one of the best turn-based strategy games I've ever played (LuckyLindy takes his hat off in salute).  It is only getting better.

Tnks for the quick response, based on the info from the FAQ i think mi OS is the problem...i do have an older version of XP.   :'(

on the ufoconsole.log...
I see the file but when i open it, there is nothing on it, its blank  :o

The game is installed on C:\UFOAI-2.4-dev, is it ok????
