Gentoo overlay
morse:
Do you have a gentoo's overlay with ebuild for SVN (or git or whatever) version?
I'd like to see the developer's version but do not want to install anything outside portage.
Mattn:
if you are talking about something like this:
http://ufoai.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=ufoai/ufoai;a=blob;f=ufoai-2.4.9999.ebuild;h=c840d4e1db1b0ac1fd27175645068d4d8331d948;hb=HEAD
then the answer is yes - though this file isn't tested, as none of the devs is using gentoo afaik.
morse:
no, that's not exactly it. of course this ebuild will do it much easier for a gentoo user to compile and install dev version, but it would still be outside portage.
But, may be i try it when i'll have nothing else to do :)
And if it'll work, do you mind if i propose it to be added to official portage tree?
Mattn:
of course not - that would be sweet. also if you have to fix stuff on the ebuild file, please send patches.
O01eg:
Does mapcache as ccache for maps exist? I think that full recompilation of maps take some hour and doesn't suit for every days update.
