Anyone else notice MD2 animation errors?

In latest revision, Linux 32-bit Ubuntu, I've noticed quite a few issues with the MD2 animations that weren't there before.

Heads fly off bodies then fly back on (TAG sync issue?), and when killed many animations flicker between dramatically different (random?) frames.

This is with the existing, old models, which really surprises me - They used to work just fine.

Anyone else notice this?

no - did you try a clean build? which revision introduced this?

This was a totally clean build that I compiled yesterday after I installed Ubuntu on my one of my desktop computers.  I'm not sure what revision this issue started with, as before yesterday I haven't actually ran the game in some time.

The console log didn't report any errors or anything strange.

I think what I'll do is:

- Update from SVN again and re-compile, and see if it continues
- Try the same thing on Windows and see if it occurs there, too
- If it continues, I'll try to capture a short video of what happens - I'm not sure how to do video capture on Linux
- If it still happens, I'll open a bug report.

I saw same MD2 animation corruption.

When was the first time you've seen it?  I hadn't run the game in some time, but if you remember a point where it started, it would help the coders track down what revision started the problem.

if someone could do some revision hoping and tell me the rev where this was introduced, i can most likely fix it

i try 31726 and get beheaded soldiers with unvisible weapons. i should say they are beheaded but from time to time, angle to angle the head and the weapons are back. i didn't have this with the previous trunk sync 18h ago.

August 07 - i first time saw animations flicker. And now - I download

And see same - dead corpuses have tremor...

I'm poor in Pure C...
It will be great if this bug will be fixed sometime.. So just only hope remain..
