-[EDIT]- have determined that it is infact a false positive AVG is giving, no danger but you will have to dissable AVG before doing anything with the installer -[EDIT]-

Hi,
Just downloaded the windows exe for the game (ufoai-2.0-RC4-win32.exe) from the kent.dl.sourceforge.net server, when the download finished this pops up:

I don't know about other servers (i'm downloading from ovh.dl.sourceforge.net  - France at the moment to test)

just a heads up for the devs (or whoever is in control of these things)

[edit]nope france server version is the same, I guess it's across all the servers[/edit]

Have you checked the md5 signature? If the signature matches there is no need to spread panic. OTOH you could contact the scaner's authors and ask them to remove the false positive.

On Linux, you can use the standard-utility md5sum.

On Windows, there are plenty programs for calculating checksums, e.g.

* http://digestit.kennethballard.com/download.html

yeah, I tried other programs for the md5 but AVG locked the file from being accessed, downloading it again without AVG active, to check the md5

Oddly enough AVG didn't catch anything when I first installed it.  No problems there...  It was only later when I tried patching it with the pre-RC5 patch that it started giving me trouble.  :?  After closing the window a few times I was able to patch the installer without disabling AVG.
