I, personally, think the slower campaign speed is just right for me.

Earlier, new research and new equipment came so fast, I didn't really have time to get used to them. Basically, as soon as I had laser rifles, the aliens brought tachyon weapons. It's nice to be able to progress more slowly.

But that's just my "taste" for the campaign.

Okay. I'm on "gauss rifle" level, beam weapons analyzed, best ship availible - starchaser. Game stopped again.

Same here. And there are too many ufos and too many of the same missions (and too many missions). About two missions per day, maybe? (well, they are less, if I shoot down the ufos above the sea, which I'm doing right now, but it's getting so boring with this "no progress" part of the game.)

I'm on the easier level than normal (not the easiest). The game went well till october, than I had a gap until december and in january the game stopped again (and I'm now in february).

I don't know. I think, the game speed should depend on the items you're researching, because this is the real progress in your game. Playing 40 (of the same) missions (automissions at this point don't work anymore, because my squad dies everytime [and I don't know why]) and with no progress in the game at all, this is... boring.

I never played to the end of the game and I don't know, if I have the time to do it this time. The game lenght is way too long, in my opinion.

Making game long is good, but "juice" is necessary. Without it player becomes bored and frustrated (like me now).

Could some developer please tell us, what event will trigger game progress? Does it depend on X number of finshed missions, certain number of killed enemies?

It's July (!) 2085 here and now I got the "alien strategy" research topic, but no email/message and in statistics, there is a "virus infection counter", but I have no clue, what it means.

It will be easier to spot this ability of the Shevaar in 2.4...

This bug happens anytime, so try this:

1.Press play button to skip a bit of time (1 second if you want).
2.Open it again and you should see.

MCR, please, read http://ufoai.ninex.info/wiki/index.php/Aliens/Shevaar carefully. This alien doesn`t have eyes, and they don`t have anything glowing. And this is not «predator-like» anything.
