Inaccessible UFOs

I can't enter all room on a special UFO, as there is no path present. This also means the aliens are stuck on the second level of the ship, but will descend to ground level when a PHALANX soldier is near the door. Neither the soldiers nor the aliens can walk through these doors. I've attached a picture so you get a better idea of whats going on.

You should now be able to attach things again, I've deleted some old attachments.

if the 2.3.1 patch comes out, would the savegames from 2.3 works with 2.3.1? and how long to you think it could take till this update released?

They should be compatible. This is main idea — minor updates are compatible, major aren`t.

Which OS you using?

If you use Windows version:
you used the download from our forum, Win32 Development Binary Installer Links?
I use the official stable 2.3  windows release version... but i dont got any problem on the harvester ufo... here a screenshot where i past the 2nd floor already >.>

I have had this on various maps. Some work, some don't, it seems to vary with the map. Although the ships look the same they have different inaccessible squares depending on map.

I had actually no problem beating those maps even with the bug...from right positions you can see on the stairs, and aliens always go to stairs sooner or later....
