for the fixers - please try a none 1024x768 resolution when trying to reproduce this.

@MikeKle: are you sure that you recompiled the binaries? some menu code changes were done in the last few days.

I am very newb on these things. What I did is

svn up
make clean
./configure
make
make lang // no changes there
make pk3 // no changes there
make maps // no changes there
sudo make install
sudo make install_data
./ufo
May be I do something wrong...

30274  - 30276 same issues.
