C::B problem
« on: May 31, 2010, 02:40:10 pm »
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
I'm new to your forums, and very interested in helping in any way that I can, I love XCOM and want to see this game get better.
I downloaded the 2.2 build and radiant, as well as the prepackaged C::B and followed the steps on the Code::Blocks-UFO:AI page to get a 2.3 version compiled so i can start using Radiant on it, but when I got to the step where it tells me to copy the dll's from the contrib\dlls folder to the UFO:AI root dir, I can't find the folder containing the dll's. There is a contrib folder in the MinGW folder of the C::B download, but no \dll subfolder. Am I missing something here? I'm assuming there is a 2.3 source compilation that I just don't have, so if that's the case could I get a link to it's location please? If not, any help would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome :)

In order to compile UFO 2.3 with C::B, you need to do an 'SVN checkout' to get the source (see wiki) and the contrib/dll folder.
Delete the 2.2.1 first to avoid interference.
