rotating items

Matombo:
is there any way to rotate items in the current version (2.2.1)?
because the description of the monumolekular blade says it can be caried in the holster but its 2 squares big and could only be put in there verticaly

In 2.3, if you try to move item into slot where it would fit only rotated, it would do so automatically. Not sure how's it in 2.2.1. As far as I know, there is no button for manually rotating the object.

Edi:
No rotation in 2.2.1, works just fine in 2.3. Even the buggiest 2.3 is a big improvement on 2.2.1 because of the many interface and other upgrades.
