Where you from?

Hey what i want to do here is see where everyone's from (obviously) Like put your town/city and country then if we find a place where people are most concentrated we can have like a meeting or something for everyone that supports the game one way or another and discuss ideas and just generally meet each other this is only if you want to. Im from collierville, TN. But we will need some funding for wherever we meet if its not a place where someone lives

Well, I'm from a (dreadful) place in north-east Ohio, but most of the people here aren't even from the United States - Many members here are from Europe, some from even farther away...

This idea would be nice, but I doubt most of us could manage traveling so far - My trusty little Toyota is reliable, but not quite capable of getting me across continents.

Wow i was expecting somone to come along and instead of voting just put give it up you stalker but this was the last thing i expect but still its interesting that people would like to meet face to face to exchange ideas its like we're in the 80's again.

From what I know so far we have France, Belgium, Poland, Hungary, Russia, 2 US guys and 3 from Germany. But that's just the coders/designers.

A "1st world congress of UFO:AI developers" is a nice idea, but keep in mind that someone who can write english pretty well is not necessarily able to *speak* english fluently. So we might end up sitting side by side chatting via our laptops LOL.

i like the idea, too - but we would also have to ensure that coders, designers and artists would take part of it. and at least the artist part could get a little bit harder to achieve

Ya i forgot that everyone here is all over the world, but hey its a first right? A bunch of people supporting, making, playing a game come along and meet to share some ideas concerns other stuff its a good idea to me. Anyways I want as many people MAKING the game to come because that would help alot so the little guys can come and give them ideas and instant feedback instead of wait 2 hours for a reply on the forum
