A little thing about how to compile

<< < (2/2)

Rarok:
Ok.
The trouble with libz is with the line:

./configure --enable-universal

If just ./configure it don't have any trouble with libz. Maybe it's because Snow Leopard isn't avaible for PPC

With ./configure --without-curses seems to work, now compiling maps.

keybounce:
Last time I checked (2 months old), MacPorts 1.8, Os 10.6, and universal was a broken combination.

Apparently, MacPorts made a change to their system (in 1.8) about the same time that 10.6 came out, and the combination was too much of a difference.

I thought it would be fixed by now, but apparently not.

** WHY does UfoAi want or need Curses???

Mattn:
curses is only used for the dedicated server - you can deactivate it with the appropriate configure switch
