Hire Scientists ?

I don't see where I can hire more scientists.
With only two of them, research will take very long...

There isn't any meaningful research in the game yet (well, okay, some, but not much), so I don't see why you would want to.

How should I know if the research is useful, before it gets finished ?
And this is a beta, so I want to test everything...

Well, you can still test research with one of the shorter research topics, or make some of your own that don't take too much time.

Well, actually the research is already quite meaningful (with the exception of plot-related topics) and ready to test. As a quick fix I would propose 10 starting scientists or just 1 more scientist after each won mission...

It took 14 days to research the medikit with 2 researchers.
But after this research was finished, the researchers were gone.

I can't find string in research.ufo where can I fix it!

"please help" is slighly misplaced here since we are playtesting a game thats far from finished. So i guess everyone is trying to help it but the load of bugs has to be hammerd down one by one.

Just mention it and it goes to the queue.  :wink: Not to think that  missing scientists get fixed first...

In current SVN trunk (and latest xdelta) you get some more scientists after each mission, if I get it right. So research should be doable right now..
