Game work but first mission wont start...

Sorry! I thought it was the same problem hertz was having since they sounded identical at first. I just posted here because most of the time people get irritated if you go posting multiple threads about the same topic.

That said, is there a place I can get the map descriptors without having to download the whole 385mb package again? (and where would I put them if I did get them?)

[Edit:] I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the package again, and now the map loads just fine.

All my maps log stop at the same place, stop writing at line 71 and the game not responding anymore, i have to stop the game from windows end program.

So after 188 readers, still no solution... i'm missing this good game a lot...

start it in a debugger and see where it loops - that's the only way to help us to provide a fix for your problem. if you have questions, join our irc channel and you will get help on debugging the game - there is also a wiki article about debugging it.

Destructavator:
I'll be uploading a new installer tonight - I don't know if that would fix your issue or not, although if you want to stay the most up-to-date it would be best to learn to compile from SVN (detailed in the wiki).
