Hay,
The game ends on Feb 1, 2085 with a message along the lines of "Thanks for playing single player, now is the time to try multiplayer."
Why?

Assuming you ran 2.2.1, there is no 'final fight'.
2.2.1 is left uncomplete intentionally.

Welcome to the game Jolly Roger! Sounds like very happy nick indeed! Haha. :D

That was the so called intended 'ending' for the version 2.2.1. The developers decided to release it as of that stage and left a 'mandate' so call...... Hehe.

But then again, the game has progressed immensely far since 2.2.1 :D

You might want to try 2.3 which is in development phase (hence bugged and not complete also), or simply wait for the 2.3 stable version to be released. :D

I've been playing this game for a while now. And i must say, i am pretty
impressed with it. I like the whole Xcom essence here and I never tire of it.

I was wondering if you guys are planning on Putting all the weapons into
categories? like Energy Weapons, Projectile weapons, Human weapons,
Reversed engineered weapons. haha I find that this would make selecting
the right thing for the right job alot more easier lol.

I found it kind of bugging to have to look and look for the weapons in that
large list lol. I wish i could help with the game but i really suck at this kind of
stuff. But i am learning how to 3d Model and map. So i may be able to help with
weapon creation or Enemy creation lol.
XD
Kudos to you all X]

Everyone should play the dev build.

Personally I always think dev builds are cooler than stable versions. For example, in wesnoth, I never play the stable version because I think it is boring when the fancy stuff is added to the dev build only

I prefer the stable versions myself.

I find dev builds tend to have bugs and crashes which hurt the gaming experience and fun.
