updating (via xdelta) to SVN-2359, there are less crashes (thanks!),
but several
bugs still remain from the previous version:
* savegames cannot be loaded - this is the biggest issue,
because it limits testing (and playing+fun) severely
* No errormessage is displayed when loading a savegame fails
* when the aircraft reaches a mission-site, most often "Enter" does not work.
This is another showstopper
* When this happens, there is no message, and no entry in ufoconsole.log
* Select-Location - dialog is too small (not high + not wide enough)
* To select the site when an aircraft is nearby, it has to be selected twice
* Select Select-Aircraft: no dialog opens for giving commands
* After a mission: equipment is not collected, items on the ground are lost
* no error-dialog when trying to build base#9
* No indication of radar-range, so the player has no idea
how effective the placement of his bases is
* building another Quarter gives no additional scientists
* broken animation for grenade-launcher:
after shooting, the soldier wiggles his weapon
* No picture for Heavy-Nano-Armor: in the equipment-screen,
when outfitting a soldier with this armor, his picture disappears
* same picture for all the rockets, grenade-shells, and normal/heavy laser
* Intro-text is gone
* Typo: "Medicore" ( should be "Mediocre"? )
* Several story-related discontinuities, e.g.
** Interceptor-building (aa-missiles or hangar?)
** Gwanda/Africa: "Aliens escaped from the mine...", but the mine-mission
is in Australia/NZ, and it appeared (in my game) later then Gwanda...
** Hellfire Canister (alien item / human package?)
To state the obvious, (and steal a line from Bandobras)
