Equip Soldiers

I somehow miss a button where you can go directly to the Equipment Screen to outfit your Soldiers.
Would be practical to make one.

Second request would be to make an auto update.

It is not possible with the current system. Active soldiers must be assigned to an aircraft.
We will do it when it's possible.

Auto update? You mean auto equip? Planned too.

No not auto equip. Would be nice if the game could look for newer version files and download them on it's own or something of sort

What newer files? Most of the changes involve code change so you need to recompile, maybe compatibility break so you have to restart the campaign. Such feature could cause a lot of problems we don't wanna manage IHMO.

You can set up a cron job (scheduled task) to update from svn, recompile for yourself..

Kind of autoupdate will be done somewhere in the future in two areas only:

• downloading missing maps from dedicated server
• downloading missing pk3 packs from dedicated server

Thus when someone will host dedicated server, he can put own stuff in there, and players joining without these extensions will automatically download them.

Thats not bad. Just like those download features you have in let's say counterstrike and sort.
