rev 24000: Negative TUs

Hi,
   FYI, I keep getting negative TUs while walking in a mission.

Negative TU isn't a mac specific issue. I have it either on x86, Linux.

afaik this is a pathfinding issue - maybe it's fixed once mike and duke commited their most recent updates.

I have this negative TU issue since 23800+ revisions.

Yupz, like matt said, i will have to be patient. :)
But just for info, me on WinXP SP3. Yupz, so i see it on x86 machines.

Can't check to see if it works.
With rev 24050, I get a bus error when loading any battle map.

I don't think this "Bus error" has anything with ufo:ai. Usually it is disk problem...

Lack of space could not be the issue since about 80% of the hard disk is unused, unless you meant permissions?

In any case, rev 24054, does not have negative TUs or bus errors.

i just had this hapen to me
rev 24055
have even had it CTD 

each time this has hapend has been in the battlescape
in the campain it takes me back to geoscape
in skirmish it takes me back to main menu

in both cases there seems to be a chance of a CTD

it hapend to me in +tropical in the campain a few times so i tryed in skirmish and i get the same problem

vista home 32-bit sp1
3gb ram
intel core 2 duo t5800

Ah, its not an unknown issue.
I already submitted this b4..... pathfinding issue probably? Dunno.
Be patient.

Its ok. I tested out 24045, there is no negative TU error alrite.

But i still see some problem about moving when crouched (such as move to a tile with exactly the same amt of TU), issues of after a turn in crouch, u cannot stand up and move unless u do some 'trick' like switching to another player after standing up and switching back to this player, and quite a few such stuff.

I believe all these are pathfinding issues = BIGGEST headache for the programmers at this point.

Unfortunately, its a bit complex and well, i am quite lazy to do programming at this point, though i am trained in C..... lol.

So, like i say, be patient, help out other areas of the projects tat requires ppl to work on - graphics, sounds, translations and even perhaps scripts......

But pls, new ideas can really wait. :P There will always be new ideas.... we need debugging and stuff rite now. Toodles! Off to slp now. 4 hrs time i need to be up to prepare for my First Aid coverage duty.

Okie, ok. I will try. So far as i know, its been a while. But i know a couple of new commits have been made, and i will try the latest version today. :)
