R23824 - Cannot Save

Hi,

Self compiled R23824 UFOAI 2.3.
Realised that at startup, something's not right at the Menu.
I am on Win XP SP 3.

The menu's missing Save option at start.
In game, when you press "ESC" key, i do not get the save / load option.

Last but not least, I believe at startup menu,
"Campaign", "Skirmish" should be followed up with a "Load Game" option.

which save option are you missing? you can't save anything else than current running campaign, after pressing "ESC" from in-campaign-game I can choose save and load. Other modes don't support save, so we removed it there.

In Single player perhaps there could be a load button next to campaign and skirmish, but load is only supported in campaign mode and so only placed there actually. I also could think about a "continue" button load latest savegame after starting ufo.exe.

1) I agree with the "Continue", "Load Latest Savegame" option.
2) I cannot save the current campaign. Nvm that, let me recompile a new SVN today, and then i go back and uninstall / reinstall again this new one. Maybe i happened to download one that was well.......lol. Get back to this again later.

PS: I know other modes do not support save; and i am always in campaign (never in skirmish).
