How to up-date to 1.4

Hi guys,
nice work so far! I am really impressed, it seams as this game will become a really good open source game!

I just tested version 1.2 for windows but I also noticed that there is a patch to update my game to version 1.4 available. Somehow I just couldn't figure out how to install the patch. I hope you can help me out!

look at the date of this patch, its older then 0.12 beta

Well usually the newer versions have the higher numbers. Which version is the newest?
