Right now I'm in the midst of preparing hudguns and vweps for another game.  After I get that finished I'd like to start work on what's needed.

that would be great. you could start with the following:

* those are mailheaders where we need models for the character heads for. we already have most of them, but two are still missing: mail_from_xo and mail_from_un (see http://ufoai.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/ufoai/ufoai/trunk/base/models/characters/ for already existing models)
* some character models are holding one of their arms very strange in the animation "standX" (see e.g. http://ufoai.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/ufoai/ufoai/trunk/base/models/civilians/male/worker01.anm?view=log - the worker is one of those models). maybe there is a better frame for this - or the animation needs updating.
* We are lacking two geoscape models - see http://ufoai.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/ufoai/ufoai/trunk/base/models/geoscape for the current existing ones. we need a model for a mission with a crashed ufo and one model to mark very important (story related) missions.

* our shevaar model is needs light and heavy armoured models - if you could do that, that would be really nice
* and as always, character models, soldier models and so on. a little bit of variation
* last but not least we could of course also always use map models like (crashed) cars, animated trees, animated animals and whatever else can be used as map decoration

Hi Mattn, I just saw this -- mail_from_xo is supposed to use the existing howard.md2. What is that being used for at the moment?

As far as I'm aware we only need a head for mail_from_un.
