Reward for Mission - too small

I just finished one mission (Gwanda) fairly successfully,
i.e.: 5 aliens killed, 1 soldier lost, 1 civilian saved.

Reward is 1200 for alien tech, 500 for killed aliens,
500 for saved civilian --> Total 2200.

But considering the losses (ammo used up,
lost armor from the dead soldier: 1400)
this is quite a loss.
And in the current RC3, the dead man's weapon
is also left behind - another 2100 lost...

Also, alien weapons like tachyon pistol have prices
around 3400 - quite a difference to the 'alien tech' value.

So I think the rewards need some tweaking...

yes, exactly. this is done in campaign.ufo scriptfile - this file needs tweaking at all (remember wrong latitude and longitude)

Meaningful tweaks require much more info about income and costs.

E.g. currently a new base gets a free dropship+batch of soldiers.
If this is an error, and gets fixed, it would have a much bigger
impact on the funding than any tweak on the mission-rewards.

Same for the cost of hiring scientists/soldiers etc.
